Recruit4staff are representing a well-established manufacturing business in their search for a MIG Welder to work in Lurgan

Job Details:

• Pay: £16.27 per hour (£1 per hour shift allowance included)
• Hours of Work: Rotating shifts - Shift 1: Mon-Thur 6am-3pm, Fri 6am-11am / Shift 2: Mon-Thur 3pm-12am, Fri 11am-4pm
• Duration: Temp to Perm

Job Role: As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for completing MIG welding on 3-8mm steel components to a high standard using engineering drawings and jig arrangements. The role of MIG Welder involves working in a busy manufacturing environment, carrying out basic fabrication tasks, maintaining quality control across production, adhering to Health & Safety procedures, and working both independently and as part of a team while meeting tight deadlines.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

• Proven experience working as a MIG Welder
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents
• Experience using electrical and manual tools such as saws, squares, and calipers
• Strong knowledge of health and safety standards and correct use of PPE

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

• NVQ in Welding
