Area Sales Manager (Heating Devices)

35,000 - 40,000 + OTE 55,000 + Car + 24 days holiday + Flexitime + benefits

Birmingham/Leicester/Nottingham

Reporting directly to the UK Field Sales Manager, the purpose of this role is to establish and increase sales levels against set company targets.

You will develop long-term customer relationships within your territory. The role will combine focus on supporting existing product ranges, introducing new products, and your customer will be running retail outlets supplying heating equipment to the public.

The role:

  • This is a field-based role requiring extensive travel within your given territory
  • Learn our complete product range through training and researching company literature, such as brochures for product/technical information and prices
  • Receive telephone calls from retailers / clients, ensuring all calls are dealt with in a friendly and professional manner
  • Be able to learn and present valuable technical insights to dealers on your given product range using these techniques to gain valuable showroom exposure
  • Be driven by results and have an entrepreneurial approach to developing your given sales territory
  • Promote and train retailers / clients on new products, technical information, and promotional activity
  • Arrange and facilitate site tours for retailers / clients

The person:

  • Possess excellent communication skills, to communicate complex product information, clearly and concisely
  • Experience in field sales
  • Full driving license
