DevOPs Openshift Consultant - Remote/London/Sheffield/Birmingham - £500 per day umbrella CONTRACT

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Data Protection Automation Engineer on contract for a leading Banking Group. The role will be based 2/3 days in their offices in London or Sheffield or Birmingham and remote

You will need strong backup Architecture/SME with knowledge of OpenShift. DevOps

In this role, you will:

• Design, develop, test and support automation for the data protection services within the bank.
• Design, develop, test and support reporting and monitoring capabilities for the automation.
• Provide engineering support on the bank's data protection products and their standard usage.
• Undertake product evaluation, new features, and versions.
• Produce clear and comprehensive documentation for all automation produced.
• Mentor less experienced members of staff

requirements:

• 10+ years development experience with multiple languages, including Python, Bash
• 5+ years' experience in configuration management and orchestration using Redhat Ansible
• 5+ years' experience in configuration management and orchestration using Puppet.
• 5+ years' experience in designing, developing, and testing Rest API services.
• 5+ years' experience in Devops SCM tooling, GitHub
• 5+ years' experience in Devops CI/CD tooling, Jenkins, CloudBees
• 5+ years' experience in Devops collaboration tools, Jira, Confluence
• Strong technical background in Veritas NetBackup and related infrastructure
• Strong technical background in Commvault and related infrastructure
