Job Title: Technical Solutions Architect
Location: Remote first (cross-site travel to any of Burnley, Sheffield, Pendle, Cardiff or London required)
Salary: £90,000

Technical Solutions Architect Responsibilities

  • Define and deliver a cohesive technical architecture and roadmap aligned to business strategy.
  • Act as Technical Design Authority, leading design governance, review, and approval of IT solutions.
  • Design secure, resilient, and highly available solutions across cloud, infrastructure, application, and data domains.
  • Translate complex business requirements into robust technical designs.
  • Advise senior IT and business leaders on emerging technologies, including cloud platforms, AI, and hyperautomation.
  • Produce architecture models, technical specifications, and solution documentation.
  • Drive transition from on-premise and data centre environments to cloud-first digital services.
  • Promote reuse of existing technical assets, frameworks, and methodologies.

Technical Solutions Architect Requirements

  • Experience as a Technical Solutions Architect or similar senior architecture role.
  • Strong experience with outsourced IT services and enterprise-scale infrastructures.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms and services (Azure, AWS, IaaS, SaaS, M365).
  • Proven track record designing secure, scalable, and highly available systems.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and technical governance skills.
