Salary: £19.00 per hour + £3,000 Joining Bonus
Hours: 39 hours per week

I m currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join a well-established engineering operation based in Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled vehicle technician looking for long-term stability, career progression, and the chance to work on modern and electric vehicle technology.
You ll be joining a busy, professional engineering team responsible for maintaining a large fleet of buses, with strong investment in tooling, training, and future technologies.

Key Responsibilities of the HGV Technician

• Diagnose and carry out vehicle repairs, servicing, and parts replacement
• Accurately diagnose faults and identify the correct repair methods and components
• Complete routine servicing and vehicle examinations
• Use handheld data capture devices where required
• Attend on-road breakdowns and vehicle recoveries
• Carry out road testing to identify defects or confirm repairs
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, and compliance

Requirements of the HGV Technician

• Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in HGV or PSV Mechanics (essential)
• Flexible approach to shift working
• Full UK driving licence
• Willingness to obtain a PCV licence (support provided)
• Experience with buses or coaches is desirable, but all vehicle mechanics considered
