Main purpose of position: Responsible for managing, monitoring and ensuring the delivery of an effective and efficient administration service in relation to the New Build pre-construction programme. The post holder will proactively encourage and facilitate closer working arrangements between the sections of the Council and its internal contractors involved in the New Build process to promote delivery of the project within time frame. You will be responsible to: Responsible for the day to day administration of the pre- construction phase of the New Build process and through monitoring and intervention, ensure that demolition permit, asbestos, soil analysis reports are in place. Ground utility checks have been completed and decommissioning works arranged and certified by third Party Service Providers. Manage application process for Utility Main extensions including payment of charges. Co-ordinate work of Utility Providers re installation. Investigate specialist Companies required for on-site works and ensure all insurances are in place. Manage the Co-ordination of work with subcontractors, and tradespersons. Liaison with clients, visit residents near Development site for customer feedback and Considerate Constructor status. Manage and compile O & M Manuals for site handover. Ensure practical completion documents in place. Apply for Utility Adoption and action any issues. Receipt, distribution and validation processes for daily work orders, data-input.
