Design Technology Teacher
The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Design Technology Teacher to cover maternity leave. The successful candidate will:
- Teach Design Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Deliver engaging, practical lessons that encourage creativity, problem-solving, and innovation.
- Support students in developing skills in resistant materials, graphics, and product design.
- Use a variety of teaching methods and modern technology to enhance learning.
- Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and creative projects.
Candidate Requirements
- A relevant degree in Design Technology or a related field.
- Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- Experience teaching Design Technology at secondary level.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students of all abilities.
- A passion for creativity and innovation in education.
