  • Keep accurate maintenance records, inspection logs, and test documents.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of electrical systems in hazardous/explosion-risk environments.
  • Ability to interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and EX equipment data sheets.
  • Experience using test equipment such as insulation testers, multimeters, and loop testers.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and safely in industrial environments.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Recognised electrical qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, apprenticeship, trade certificate).
  • Proven experience working with electrical systems on cranes, heavy equipment, or industrial machinery (marine/offshore experience an advantage).
  • Strong knowledge of ATEX directives, IEC 60079 standards, and hazardous area installation rules.
  • Ability to travel and work offshore or on customer sites as required.

What We Offer

  • Competitive workshop hourly rate and offshore allowances (if required).
  • Opportunities to work with advanced crane technologies.
  • Training and development, including further EX modules or OEM system training.
  • A safe, professional, and growth-oriented working environment.
