Occupational Hygiene ManagerNorth LincolnshireMonday-Friday 36.5 hours per weekCompetitive Salary Excellent Benefits We're delighted to be partnering with a leading UK industrial manufacturer to recruit an experienced Occupational Hygiene Manager, to take responsibility for leading and developing a specialist team, ensuring the effective management of workplace health risks across a complex industrial environment. This is a pivotal leadership role within a well-established Health, Safety & Environmental function, offering the opportunity to influence occupational health standards across the site. Key Responsibilities of the Occupational Hygiene Manager include: Lead and manage the Occupational Hygiene team and associated work plans Ensure compliance with relevant health and environmental legislation Oversee surveys, inspections, and monitoring activities Advise plant operations on occupational hygiene compliance and improvements Liaise with external contractors and regulatory authorities (including the HSE and Environment Agency) Provide professional guidance to senior leaders and directors Review and enhance internal Health & Safety instructions and systems Support the wider H&S auditing process Conduct on-site testing where required We're keen to speak with experienced Occupational Hygienists who are ready to step into - or further develop within - a leadership role, with the below skills and experience: Hold (or be working towards) the BOHS Certificate of Operational Competence in Occupational Hygiene Possess the P402 Asbestos Surveyor qualification (desirable) Have broad experience across multiple occupational hygiene disciplines Demonstrate strong analytical capability and a continuous improvement mindset Be confident influencing and advising senior stakeholders Have experience leading or coaching small teams Hold a full UK driving licence (UK travel required) Flexibility is important, as occasional out-of-hours work may be required This is an opportunity to join a forward-thinking industrial business with a strong heritage and an ambitious future - where health, safety and environmental standards are taken seriously at the highest level.
