C&P recruitment are working with a highly regarded client of ours, that are based in Edinburgh. Our client has been awarded a big kitchen fit out for a new prison down in the Lakes District. They are looking for fitters and fitters mates to start work for the 13th of October. The work will be carried out for 6 weeks and digs will be provided. An EL1 clearance will need to be carried out, so you will not be allowed to have any criminal convictions. Looking for skilled guys who have worked along Duct fitters before, and you will need a CSCS card. Pay rate is negotiable with the client depending on references and experiences. Job Title: Multi-Skilled Operative (Bathroom Fitter) Salary: £36,051.38 per annum Location: On site with base in Stafford & Shrewsbury Hours: 40 hours per week, permanent We currently have a great opportunity for an experienced Multi-Skilled Operative (Bathroom Fitter) to join our in-house maintenance team, Property Plus. We're looking for a dedicated professional to bring our values to life and ensure our customers receive outstanding services. The Role As a Multi-Skilled Operative fitting bathrooms in the Planned team, you will be responsible for carrying out the removal and installation of bathrooms and traditional carpentry duties, floor tiling, and all associated finishes, to an excellent standard. Skills and experience required: Completion of nationally recognised trade qualification or an approved certificated qualification (or time experience) Working knowledge of current building regulations Previous experience of kitchen fitting and carpentry/joinery (desirable) Experience of a social housing repairs and maintenance environment (preferred but not essential) Carpenter / Joiner experience i.e. completing different trade work Outstanding customer care skills Full UK Driving Licence as travel across Staffordshire and Shropshire will be part of the role What we can offer you We'll supply the hand and power tools for your role as well as a company van. We also offer a comprehensive induction programme and excellent learning opportunities, with mandatory and specialist training available.
