BSL Teacher - Specialist Provision Woodford 180- 250 per day Full Time Immediate Start Remedy Education is currently recruiting for a qualified BSL Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive school in Woodford . This is a fantastic opportunity to work with deaf and hearing-impaired pupils, supporting their communication, learning and development in a specialist educational environment. The school is looking for a confident and experienced teacher who can deliver engaging lessons while using British Sign Language (BSL) to support pupils' access to the curriculum. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging lessons using British Sign Language (BSL) to support deaf and hearing-impaired pupils Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of pupils with additional learning needs Work closely with support staff, teaching assistants and the SEN team Promote inclusive learning and positive classroom engagement Monitor and track pupil progress to ensure strong educational outcomes Support pupils' communication, confidence and independence Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status ( QTS ) or relevant teaching qualification BSL qualification (Level 2 or above preferred) Experience working with deaf or hearing-impaired students Strong understanding of inclusive and differentiated teaching practices Excellent communication and behaviour management skills Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply) This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher to make a real difference supporting pupils in a specialist setting.
