Job Description

Looking for a payroll position where the culture is genuinely collaborative, hybrid working is built in, and full-time doesn't mean 40+ hours?

This is a values-led professional services business with 200+ employees, known for its supportive culture and high standards. They're looking for an experienced Payroll Executive to take ownership of the monthly payroll cycle in a role that offers flexibility, trust and visibility.

Payroll is respected here. You won't be hidden in the background.

Why This Role Stands Out

Hybrid working, with a minimum of 2 days in the office
35-hour full-time week
Flexible culture - not a rigid 9-5
Annual bonus scheme
25 days holiday + Christmas closure
Employer pension + life assurance
A genuinely values-driven, people-focused organisation

This is a business that prioritises cooperation, integrity and doing things properly, internally as well as for clients.

The Role

You'll take ownership of end-to-end payroll, working closely with Finance and HR to ensure everything runs accurately and compliantly.

Full monthly payroll processing
RTI submissions and PAYE/NIC reconciliations
Pension and auto-enrolment management
Benefits and P11D support
Payroll reporting and audit support
First point of contact for payroll queries

There's also scope to improve processes and strengthen controls; this isn't just a processing role.

What we're looking for

Solid payroll experience in a medium/large UK organisation
Strong knowledge of PAYE, NIC and statutory payments
Experience with pensions and auto-enrolment
Good Excel skills
Experience with Sage Payroll would be an advantage, however experience using another payroll system will absolutely be considered
High attention to detail and discretion

If you want a payroll role with flexibility, ownership and a culture that genuinely supports its people, this is worth exploring.
