An excellent opportunity has become available for a Senior Sustainability Engineer to join an established consultancy as part of their Manchester based Building Services and Sustainability team. Within the role the successful candidate will have the opportunity to assist with the continued growth of the team while working to deliver high profile projects within the commercial, industrial, education, multi-residential and retail sectors.

Qualifications: In this instance applications are sought from candidates with a BEng / MEng in a relevant building services / energy / sustainability related discipline and membership to an appropriate professional body such as CIBSE / the Energy Institute.

Experience: It is anticipated that the successful Senior Sustainability Engineer will have demonstrable experience of IES performance modelling, BREEAM assessments, facade performance evaluation and preparing energy strategies. Excellent report writing and communication skills are essential for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Undertaking IES performance and compliance modelling
• Assisting with the delivery of BREEAM Assessments
• Preparing energy strategies
• Completing overheating, daylighting and ventilation studies
• Liaising with clients
• Preparing expert written reports
