Role Overview
Responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of UPS systems and associated power equipment across customer sites nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
Install, commission, service, and repair single/three-phase UPS systems.
Carry out PPM, battery testing, load bank testing, and fault diagnostics.
Perform site surveys, RAMS, and technical reporting.
Provide onsite customer support and technical advice.
Travel UK-wide with occasional overnight stays; participate in on-call rota.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience working with UPS systems (APC, Riello, Eaton, Vertiv, etc.).
Strong electrical engineering background; capable of reading electrical schematics.
Knowledge of AC/DC systems, battery types, and power distribution.
Competent with electrical test equipment.
Full UK driving licence.
Desirable Qualifications
NVQ Level 3 Electrical or equivalent.
17th/18th Edition (BS 7671).
UPS manufacturer training.
