CNC / SAW OPERATORS & CRATE MAKING OPERATORS

DAY SHIFT

Our client is leading industrial packaging manufacturer. They specialise in full packaging solutions including wooden and corrugated boxes, pallets, returnable packaging, export packaging etc for a range of market sectors.

They are currently looking to recruit experienced Multi-Skilled Operators to support the expansion of a timber and transit packaging production facility.

CNC / Saw Operator Responsibilities:

• Operating and maintaining:
• HOMAG Panel Saw
• CNC machining equipment
• Stromab FAST500 MATRIX Cross Cut Saw
• Z nd Cutter
• In-house brake press
• Responsibilities include precision cutting, machine setup, programming adjustments, quality control and maintaining production efficiency

Crate Making Operator Responsibilities:

• Timber crate and pallet manufacturing
• Nailing and assembly operations
• Supporting CNC and cutting operations where required
• Reading drawings and packaging specifications
• Maintaining production flow and quality standards

Requirements:

• Experience operating industrial saws, CNC equipment, or woodworking machinery
• Experience with crate manufacturing, timber packaging, or pallet production
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
• A proactive and team-focused approach
