About the Opportunity:

I am looking for an experienced groundwork Senior Quantity Surveyor that is interested in joining a well-established and leading groundwork contractor who are based in Bedfordshire. Your position in the business will report directly to the commercial director, and you will be responsible for overseeing a variety of groundwork packages from project award stages through to final account. There is room for progression within this business, and you can be confident in your employer as they are widely recognised as a leading business in this market and they currently turnover above £150m per annum. We are looking for career-focused individuals who want the opportunity to be part of a close-knit team that is working on excellent projects.

About the Company:

This position will be based at our client's head office in the Northern Home Counties (near Toddington). The business currently turns over in excess of £150 million per annum, and has a reputation for a modern and quality-focused approach. They have live projects with a variety of the top house-builders in the UK and have a full pipeline secured for 2026 going into 2027.

About the Requirements:

To be successful, individuals need to have worked for rival groundwork subcontractors in the UK as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior QS. Your hard work will be rewarded, and opportunity will be there, but this previous experience in this sector is a must.

Due to the technical nature of the position, it is also crucial that all applicants are degree-qualified in quantity surveying or commercial management. And due to the location of our client s office, it is also advisable that applicants are based in or around Bedfordshire.

For this opportunity, I am targeting anyone looking to earn between £80,000 to £95,000 per annum. This bracket is flexible, and starting figures will be based on experience and previous history, but in addition to this, our client is offering a comprehensive package including the usual s such as pension but also a structured bonus scheme.
