Year 1 Primary Teacher - Long-Term to Permanent Opportunity
Exclusive Education are proud to be working with a welcoming and vibrant primary school in Orrell, Wigan, who are seeking to appoint a dedicated KS1 Primary Teacher for a Year 1 class.
This is a long-term position starting 20th April and running until the end of the academic year, with a clear pathway to transition into a permanent position with the school for the right candidate. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic teacher looking to secure a longer-term role within a supportive school environment.
The Role:
- Full responsibility for a Year 1 class
- Delivering engaging and high-quality lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
- Demonstrating strong phonics knowledge and experience
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Working as part of a friendly, experienced, and supportive staff team
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold a relevant teaching qualification with QTS (PGCE, B.Ed., or BA Hons)
- Have recent experience teaching within KS1, ideally Year 1
- Demonstrate strong phonics teaching experience
- Be eligible to work in the UK
- Provide two recent references covering the last two years working with children
- Hold a current DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
