Senior/Footwear Technologist Role:
A leading high street supplier is looking to recruit a Senior/Footwear Technologist. Responsible for ensuring the product range is delivered on time and quality is fit for purpose. You will be part of the dedicated Tech team and will report to the General Technical Manager, working alongside the product & design teams to deliver a commercial range. This role will be hands on and will handle of a range of footwear across men's, women's and kid's.
We are looking for a Senior/Footwear Technologist who is:
Experienced in footwear within the fashion industry
Highly knowledgeable about consumer product safety requirements and able to interpret relevant legislation to ensure compliance
Strong ability to Risk assess product and understanding testing and performance
An excellent communicator and someone who is comfortable working with colleagues and customers at all levels
Comfortable working in a fast-paced working environment
Highly organised, efficient and able to work to tight deadlines
Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word & Excel)
Driven and results orientated
Proactive, positive and solutions focused
Educated to degree level, ideally in a qualification related to fashion design, business or retail
