About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Electrician to join our team, working on social housing projects across Hull. The role involves carrying out electrical installations, repairs, testing, and maintenance works in both occupied and void properties, ensuring all work is delivered to a high standard and in line with current regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out electrical installations, repairs, fault finding, testing, and certification.
Complete first and second fix electrical works to a high standard.
Work professionally in occupied properties while maintaining respect for tenants.
Ensure all electrical work complies with the latest IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) , building regulations, and health & safety requirements.
Liaise with site supervisors and tenants to ensure smooth project delivery.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment at all times.
Ensure a high level of customer service is undertaken at all times.
Requirements
Proven experience as an electrician .
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation.
18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations qualification.
Inspection & Testing (2391 or equivalent) desirable.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
CSCS/ECS card required.
Full driving licence.
Reliable with excellent attendance record.
