In this role you will use your hands on mechanical experience to teach and support learners on Motor Vehicle and Light Vehicle Maintenance courses, helping them build the practical skills and theoretical knowledge needed for a successful career in the automotive industry. You will also help prepare lesson plans, develop learning materials and ensure students remain engaged while achieving the aims of each session. Full training and support will be provided to help you develop as a lecturer. The ideal candidate will have strong experience within the automotive trade such as a mechanic, technician or vehicle fitter and hold a Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent. Teaching experience is not required as the college will support you in gaining a teaching qualification while you work. This is a fantastic opportunity for a vehicle mechanic or technician to step away from the pressures of the workshop and into a secure, fulfilling Monday to Friday role with outstanding holidays, pension and long term development.
