Production Operative

Job Description:

We are recruiting a Production Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Newton Aycliffe. This is a hands-on role requiring the use of hand tools and a strong attention to detail, working as part of a production team.

Key Responsibilities

• Using hand tools to assemble and install components
• Installing air ducts, windows, and damp proofing systems
• Fitting cable trays, bolts, and fixings
• Working to quality standards
• Ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area

Requirements:

• Previous experience using hand tools (essential)
• Backgrounds such as automotive manufacturing, kitchen fitting, shop fitting, or similar installation/assembly roles are highly desirable
• Ability to work accurately and follow instructions
• Strong work ethic and reliability

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday 7am - 3pm

Pay Rate:

12.96 per hour
