We are looking for enthusiastic House Keeper to start work as part of Hoar Cross halls' expanding friendly team on an ongoing basis.
Must have own car/ transport, or be able to reliably get lifts. There is NO public transport access to the site.
Responsibilities:
- Guest Room Cleaning & Sanitization: Thoroughly cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing rooms, including vacuuming, dusting, making beds, and cleaning bathrooms (toilets, showers, sinks).
- Linen & Amenity Management: Removing used laundry and replacing it with clean linens/towels. Restocking in-room amenities such as soap, shampoo, and refreshments.
- Public Area Maintenance: Cleaning and maintaining common areas such as lobbies, corridors, elevators, and lounges to ensure they are tidy.
- Deep Cleaning & Sanitizing: Performing scheduled deep cleaning tasks like shampooing carpets, cleaning curtains, and scrubbing high-touch surfaces.
- Inventory & Supply Management: Managing inventory of cleaning supplies and guest amenities, ensuring, for example, that soap and towels are always fully stocked.
- Maintenance & Damage Reporting: Reporting broken, damaged, or malfunctioning items (e.g., lights, plumbing) to the maintenance department immediately.
- Guest Service & Security: Handling guest requests politely, maintaining security by securing rooms, and turning in lost property to management.
