MET Technician / Strip Fitter
Location: Epsom
Salary: £45,000 - £52,000
Hours: Monday to Friday - 7:30am Start
Auto Skills UK are working with a leading, state-of-the-art Bodyshop in Epsom who are looking to recruit a talented and efficient MET Technician / Strip Fitter to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established accident repair centre that utilises modern equipment and the latest repair techniques.

The Role: MET Technician / Strip Fitter
As a MET Technician / Strip Fitter, you will be responsible for repairing damaged vehicles in line with manufacturer specifications, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and quality.
You will be working within a fast-paced accident repair environment, contributing to high levels of customer satisfaction and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
Carry out mechanical, electrical and trim repairs
Strip and refit vehicle components
Work efficiently within a busy accident repair centre
Follow correct repair methods in line with factory specifications
Ensure all work meets high-quality and safety standards
Maintain a clean and organised workspace

Skills & Qualifications Required
Recognised apprenticeship as a MET Technician / Strip Fitter
Technical qualification (NVQ / VCQ / SVQ / ATA preferred)
Previous experience within a busy Bodyshop environment
Strong team player with a motivated approach to bonus earnings
Up-to-date knowledge of modern vehicle repair techniques
Ability to work to high standards with attention to detail
