Engineering Manager, Content Creation

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Manager to lead our Content Generation Team. As the Engineering Manager, you will manage a team of 5-6 developers, collaborate closely with Product Management, and build robust AI models and content pipelines that scale with our rapidly growing product.

How You'll Contribute

• Management and Hiring - Grow an experienced team, define and execute a hiring plan, and mentor engineers.
• AI Content Generation & ML Engineering - Lead efforts to prioritize and improve architectural problems in model serving, performance, latency, and quality of generated content.
• Technical Leadership & Delivery - Work hands on with senior and principal engineers on system architecture, technical decision making, and roadmap execution across AI/ML and platform components.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Multiple years of experience on complex projects, preferably JavaScript powered web applications.
• Strong experience with Node.js, React, MongoDB or similar technologies.
• People management for teams of 4+ engineers, including senior and staff/principal level ICs.
• Running operations for highly available tier one services: logging, metrics, monitoring, real time debugging and diagnostics, and alarming.
• Project management, stakeholder communication, and communication with non technical teams.
• Technical expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Technical expertise in distributed and scalable system architecture.
• Technical expertise in development infrastructure and automation frameworks.
• Learning, technical curiosity, and the ability to rapidly build expertise in new areas.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary: $170,000 - $185,000 per year, plus a bonus as part of the compensation package.

You'll manage a team of talented engineers with expertise ranging from dev ops to tooling, integrations and testing. The team's experience level ranges from seasoned developers with well over a decade in industry to junior developers who are growing their roles and impact with your mentorship.
