Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (DOE)
Hours: Monday to Friday Day Shifts (No Weekends)
HGV Technician Ferndown We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Engineer to join a well-established commercial vehicle workshop in Ferndown.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled HGV Technician seeking a stable, Monday-to-Friday position with no weekend work, competitive pay, and genuine long-term career prospects.
The Role: As an HGV Technician, your responsibilities will include:

• Servicing, maintenance, and repair of heavy goods vehicles
• Diagnosing faults using modern diagnostic equipment
• Carrying out safety inspections and MOT preparation
• Ensuring all work meets DVSA and company standards
• Completing job cards and service documentation accurately
• Working efficiently to meet deadlines and workshop targets

Requirements for the HGV Technician role:

• Proven experience as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Engineer
• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Full UK driving licence (HGV licence advantageous but not essential)
