Are you an experienced HGV Technician looking for a secure, well-paid, workshop-based role with excellent work life balance? We are recruiting a dedicated HGV Technician to join our modern and professional workshop in Crewe, offering long-term stability, flexible hours, and strong earning potential.
The Role HGV Technician As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and repair of a modern mixed HGV fleet, including trucks and trailers. You will work in a friendly, professional workshop environment, ensuring vehicles are safe, reliable, and fully compliant with regulations.
Key Responsibilities for the HGV Technician:

• Servicing, maintenance, and repair of HGVs (Mercedes, Scania, Volvo)
• Working on a range of trailers, including single-deck, double-deck, and flatbeds
• Vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and fault finding
• MOT preparation and safety checks
• Ensuring all vehicles are roadworthy and compliant with DVSA regulations

Working Hours for the HGV Technician:

• Monday to Friday 45 hours per week
• Flexible start and finish times:
  • 6:00am 3:00pm
  • 7:00am 4:00pm
  • 8:00am 5:00pm
• Optional Saturday mornings (as required)

Requirements HGV Technician:

• Level 3 qualification in HGV or Vehicle Maintenance (preferred)
• IRTEC accreditation preferred (training available if not currently held)
• Previous experience as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic
• Class 1 (C+E) licence advantageous but not essential
