A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Services Team Manager to lead a dedicated Vetting Services Team. You'll oversee the rollout of Enhanced Vetting Checks for our retail population, ensuring a smooth, compliant, and high-quality experience for employees and candidates.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings strong HR operational expertise, and is confident managing sensitive and complex vetting activity.

Key Responsibilities of the HR Services Team Manager - Vetting, include

  • Acting as the central coordination point for all vetting activity, planning and managing team workload across rollout phases
  • Ensuring service delivery meets expectations, including SLA performance and customer experience
  • Designing processes and producing collateral to support the retail rollout
  • Managing dashboards and reporting progress to leaders and stakeholders
  • Working closely with the vetting partner to monitor risks and support employees and candidates
  • Handling escalations and providing Employee Relations guidance on vetting fails or refusals
  • Building strong relationships across People Services and wider business workstreams to ensure effective collaboration and representation

The successful HR Services Team Manager - Vetting, will have:

  • Strong HR background with solid experience in employment checks and vetting processes
  • Experience working with external screening partners
  • Proven team leadership or management experience
  • Strong understanding of multiple HR policies, procedures, and systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Ability to manage complex and sensitive issues professionally and with discretion
