Field Service Engineer

Salary:£35,000 £45,000 + Overtime + Company Van + Bonus + Benefits
Job Type:Full-time, Permanent

A well-established and growing engineering service provider specialising inindustrial compressors, air systems and associated equipmentis looking to recruit a skilledCompressor Service Engineerto support continued expansion across the region.

The Role

As a Compressor Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Servicing, maintaining and repairingrotary screw, piston and oil-free compressors

  • Fault finding onelectrical, mechanical and control systems

  • Installing new compressed air equipment and pipework systems

  • Carrying out routine maintenance, breakdown response and emergency call-outs

  • Providing excellent customer support and technical advice on site

  • Completing service reports and maintaining accurate documentation

The role isfield-based in the regionwith occasional travel further afield.

Requirements

To be successful, you should have:

  • Proven experience as aCompressor Engineer, Service Engineer, Field Service Engineer or Maintenance Engineer

  • Strongmechanical and basic electrical fault-finding skills

  • Experience working oncompressed air systems or similar industrial equipment(pumps, blowers, vacuum, hydraulics, pneumatics or HVAC also considered)

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Good customer-facing and communication skills

  • Relevant engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC/HND or equivalent) desirable but not essential
