An innovative deep-tech start-up developing next-generation computing hardware for autonomous and edge systems is seeking a Senior Embedded Engineer. Youll play a key role in shaping architecture, driving digital design from concept to tape-out, and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
Role Requirements:
- Design and simulate silicon photonics integrated circuits, including passive and active components
- Use advanced EDA tools (such as Ansys)
- Execute optical and electrical simulations
Required Experience:
- Solid understanding of optical wave propagation, semiconductor physics, and IC design principles
- Experience designingphotonics ICs
- Experience with photonic device characterisation and testing is advantageous
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
