Client-Specific Information: Industry Position: A prominent leader in the field of automotive logistics and remarketing solutions. Key Services: Provides comprehensive vehicle remarketing solutions, leveraging economies of scale and a wide array of services to cater to a diverse clientele. The company offers integrated services, including portside operations for new vehicles, refurbishment, storage, imaging, financial solutions, and logistics, supporting both the expanding used car market and the core remarketing processes. Role Duties: • Diagnose complex electrical, mechanical, and software faults using JLR approved systems such as TOPIx • Carry out advanced mechanical, electrical, and EV/Hybrid high voltage repairs (where qualified) • Perform module programming, coding, and system updates to JLR standards, validating and signing off all work to Master Technician level (this is relevant to L4 technicians) • Follow JLR repair methods, technical bulletins, and safety procedures while maintaining accurate diagnostic and repair documentation • Manage diagnostic workflow, prioritising repairs efficiently and advising on non viable or uneconomical work Personal Requirements: • JLR Master Technician certification (or equivalent OEM Master accreditation) with strong diagnostic and repair experience across CANbus, advanced electronics, and hybrid/EV systems • Proven ability in structured fault finding, resolving complex technical issues, and communicating technical information clearly • High voltage EV/Hybrid certification (L4) and experience using JLR diagnostic platforms such as TOPIx (preferred) • Background in mentoring or supporting other technicians and familiarity with premium brand standards • Methodical, detail driven approach with strong teamwork, calm problem solving, and commitment to ongoing development aligned with JLR pathways • Full UK Driving Licence with minimum 2 years of driving experience both manual and automatic cars.
