Regional Recruitment Services are recruiting on behalf of Bakers Environmental Solutions for an HGV Technician to join their Fleet Workshop team. This is a great opportunity to work within an independent workshop environment where you will gain hands-on experience across a diverse fleet while progressing your career through nationally recognised training programmes.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Carry out inspections, servicing, and maintenance of HGV vehicles
• Conduct MOT preparation and inspections on HGVs
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults where required
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and inspections
• Complete all workshop paperwork and digital logs accurately and on time
• Prioritise tasks effectively to ensure smooth workshop operations
• Work collaboratively with the wider workshop team to maintain high standards

Requirements

• Qualified or working towards NVQ Level qualification in HGV Maintenance or equivalent
• Experience working in an HGV workshop or plant maintenance environment
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Fault diagnosis experience is advantageous but not essential
• Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks
• Pride in workmanship and willingness to learn and develop
• A positive team player who maintains a clean and organised working environment
