As a Mechanical Technician, you will help drive our goals by: Responsible for the delivery of preventative/proactive maintenance of Mechanical systems and its sub or support systems Attending to any reactive/corrective maintenance that arises Fault finding, completing any repairs/replacements/calibration or set-up, installation of new systems/equipment, commissioning alongside operations on returning to service Contribute to improving the site performance in all aspects of safe operation, regulatory compliance, productive output and cost efficiency by improving the engineering reliability of site equipment and ensuring appropriate maintenance frequency of assets is complied with. Key skills that will help you succeed in this role: Previous Manufacturing/Chemical industry experience Knowledge and experience of site services, Gas, Compressed air, Steam, cooling water and how to deenergise and work on safely. Knowledge and use of technical drawings & operator manuals alongside Mechanical exploded view/cross sectional drawings & P&ID's to aid fault diagnosis process.
