The Albex Group (Kent Foods Limited) supply food ingredients to the food manufacturing industry. The position will involve deliveries and overnights, driving curtain sided vehicles. We are looking for hard-working dedicated drivers to join our team - Monday - Friday. We are offering a competitive salary of £38,620.00 per annum , for average 48hr working week over 26 week WTD reference period. An overnight allowance of £25. Will also be paid. This is a small friendly company Role Requirements: - Full valid UK C+E driving license ( C lass 1 ) Hold a full Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DQC) Digital Tacho Knowledge Less than 6 penalty points on your license -No DR/IN Codes. Minimum 3 MONTHS experience preferred . HGV Class 1 Tramper Responsibilities: - Transport goods to our customers. Carry out daily vehicle & trailer checks Meet delivery schedules and timings Comply with LGV Driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company Safe systems of work and policies and procedures Manoeuvre LGV Vehicles into loading or unloading positions Report defects, accidents or violations in a timely manner.
