Trainee Repair Technician Oxfordshire £29,000 - £39,000 DOE Monday - Friday 8am-5pm Permanent We're working with a respected and long-established client in Oxfordshire who is looking for a hands-on, practical Trainee Repair Technician to join their growing team. If you enjoy fixing things, working with tools, and want a stable career with proper training, this is a brilliant opportunity. What You'll Be Doing Installing ceiling track hoists, stair lifts and other mobility equipment Surveying properties and working with healthcare professionals to plan fittings Servicing, repairing, and testing equipment to keep it running safely Collecting and removing equipment from service users' homes Taking part in an out-of-hours call rota (with additional pay) Completing job sheets and using scanners to update documentation Looking after your van, stock levels and tools Reporting issues and communicating with supervisors when needed About You You don't need to be fully qualified - just practical, willing to learn and confident with tools. We'd love to hear from you if you have: Strong DIY skills or mechanical aptitude Experience in labouring, handyman work, trades, or engineering Knowledge of building construction (bonus) Good communication and teamwork skills The ability to work independently and follow steps and procedures A full UK driving licence is neccessary Desirable: Carpentry, electronics, or engineering qualifications Previous van driving or customer-facing experience Why Apply?
