Main duties Leading and managing the regional Event Operations Management team Be the main point of client contact onsite across the North & Midlands region Liaise and communicate effectively with the onsite venue operations team to ensure that the agreed cup programme is effectively delivered Key focus on high cup retention and ensuring ECS standards are met across the onsite team Training, development and mentoring of the regional Event Operations Management Team Ensure that all site documentation and event reporting is accurately completed, updated and submitted back to ECS Head Office Ensure all on site and Company Health & Safety requirements are met and complied with Key requirements Essential: 2-3 years' management experience Full driver's license Excellent numeracy skills Desirable: Experience working for a major UK cleaning contractor or venue operations Industry recognised qualification in event or operations management Attitude: Well organised, conscientious, hard working with a positive attitude First class interpersonal skills and exceptional communication skills - written and oral Self motivated problem solver Additional information Based from Manchester or Liverpool You would be expected to work flexibly to include some weekends, evenings and night shifts as the business requires. Time off in lieu (additional to annual leave) will be provided to compensate for this. Job Title: PAT Technician Location: Birmingham / Midlands Salary: £32,341 Benefits: Pension, medical, 33 days holiday Full Time, Permanent, 45 Hours JOB PURPOSE: To ensure all portable appliance are tested as per the current HSE guidelines for in-service testing and inspection of electrical equipment. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Have an understanding of, and day to day responsibility for, the health and safety and other statutory requirements relating to portable electrical equipment Ensure the electrical test equipment in use is calibrated annually Ensure as far as is reasonably practicable that not only legislative requirements are met but equally industry standards are observed relating to portable electrical equipment. To represent the company in a professional manner at all times and develop a good working relationship with the IST and ASDA colleagues. To attend training courses as and where necessary and to ensure personal job skills keep pace with technical developments. To ensure correct paperwork and asset registers are completed during site visits. Undertake any additional works as required by the Regional Electrical Supervisor or in the post holders absence the Head of Electrical Safety or alternatively working on your own volition during periods of holiday and sickness or other absence from the business). Cover ASDA stores throughout the Birmingham / Midlands area. To maintain accurate Time Sheets and Mileage Logs as required. To comply with the company Health and Safety Policy at all times. To work with company and ASDA colleagues to ensure laid-down standards of quality are maintained at all times.
