Mechanical Supervisor - salary 34,703, permanent position, onsite work. Location, Anglesey. Pension, Training & enhanced leave allowance available.
Responsibilities:
- As a Mechanical Supervisor, your expertise ensures the safety, reliability, and performance of cutting-edge aircraft, making a real impact in a highly specialised environment.
- Review operational performance of aircraft systems and components
- Analyse and diagnose faults, apply technical knowledge to repair, modify, or improve procedures
- Ensure team meets maintenance schedules, resolve issues, and escalate when necessary
- Maintain personal and team competencies for aircraft/component work
- Demonstrate flexibility and proactive attitude, follow direction appropriately.
Required experience:
- Proven and competent leader with a strong track record at this level
- Fully qualified technician with all required authorities and certifications in place
- Demonstrates breadth of experience, currency, and recency, supported by a comprehensive logbook of skills, knowledge, and authorisations
- Solid foundation in trade principles, complemented by practical expertise in maintenance and diagnostics
- Extensive experience in applying aviation safety standards and ensuring safe operating practices.
- Completed an Engineering Apprenticeship, ideally in Aeronautical Engineering or a recognised military equivalent
- Holds a minimum academic qualification of City & Guilds 2675 or 2661 in Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance, or an equivalent certification
- Strong technical foundation with practical experience gained through structured training and hands on application.
