Join Our Frontline Team and Help Keep Communities Clean and Safe. We're looking for an Empties Clearance Operative to join our DLO team at Freebridge Community Housing. As an Empties Clearance Operative, you'll play a vital role in preparing void properties and gardens for new tenants. You'll work closely with other operatives and inspectors to ensure properties are cleared safely, efficiently, and in line with health and safety standards. This is a field-based role where no two days are the same, and your work will directly contribute to the quality of life for our residents. Freebridge was set up in 2006, to receive the transfer of the Borough Council of Kings Lynn and West Norfolk's housing stock. What you'll be doing: Clearing void properties and gardens in a timely and safe manner Working with the voids team to maintain clean and tidy environments Reporting repairs and housing management issues to the appropriate team members Identifying and reporting abandoned vehicles Removing graffiti, bulky waste, and cleaning out buildings Sorting and recycling items to reduce waste and maximise value Performing general garden and tree clearance when required Maintaining and testing equipment as needed Complying with all Health & Safety and risk assessment procedures. In this role the successful candidate will be working alongside a team of multi-disciplined Engineer working on cutting edge defence products. Your role will span the entire product life-cycle from design requirements capture and analysis through to defining the power architecture and designing, building, testing and verifying that the solution meets the customer's needs. The Power Electronics role requires working within the Electronics team to optimise the design through trade-studies, analyses, modelling and simulation to produce best-in-class competitive products. Responsibilities The Power Electronics Engineer will perform, but not be limited to the following type of activities centred on the development and delivery of cutting-edge defence products: Developing electrical power architectures to meet design requirements Leading in the design and prototype of power electronics circuits Using simulation tools to produce models of electronic and electrical power systems Leading component and sub-system selection and manage evaluation activities Define testing, validation and debug of component and circuit assemblies Support to integration testing Creation of power electronics specifications, development and verification plans Responsible for compliance to regulatory standards Contribute to bid and estimating activities Qualifications Degree level qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
