Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Aston, Birmingham
Shifts: Monday to Friday - Double Days
Salary: Up to 50,000 (depending on experience)
We're looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing company in Aston, Birmingham. This full-time role is Monday to Friday on a double day shift pattern, with a salary of up to 50k depending on experience.
Job Duties:
- Carry out maintenance and repairs on production equipment
- Take a hands-on approach to fix issues and prevent downtime
- Stick to and help improve the planned maintenance schedule
- Work closely with team leaders to track performance and fix recurring problems
- Support continuous improvement across the site
- Help others in the team with fault finding and repairs
Ideal Candidate:
- Completed an apprenticeship and hold a HNC (or similar) in engineering
- Experience in a similar role, ideally in manufacturing, FMCG, or food production
- Electrical skills with some mechanical knowledge
- Able to fault find and make changes on PLCs
- Experience with robotics is a bonus
- Understand health & safety in a fast-paced environment
- Can work on your own or as part of a team
