Chef

Location: Longmoor CampSalary: £15.25 per hourHours: 40 per week (full-time, site-based)Shift Pattern: 5 days over 7, a mix of early and late shifts

We are recruiting two experienced and motivated Chefs to join our catering team at Longmoor Camp, part of ESS within Compass Group.

As a key member of our kitchen brigade, you will help prepare and deliver high-quality meals for approximately 400 Service Personnel. You will work across two on-site kitchens, supported by a well-established team of 16.

This is a busy, rewarding role that offers variety, stability, and the opportunity to make a real contribution each day.

Early Shift: 05:00 - 13:30Late Shift: 10:30 - 19:00Working Pattern: 5 days over 7

Meal Service Times:

• Breakfast: 07:00 - 08:00
• Lunch: 12:00 - 15:00
• Evening Meal: 17:00 - 18:00

• Previous experience in a high-volume catering or chef role
• Strong knowledge of food hygiene regulations and kitchen safety
• Confident working as part of a large, fast-paced team
• Flexible, reliable, and committed to high standards
