Commercial Property Lawyer / Conveyancer

Location: Brentwood, Essex

An ambitious and expanding law firm based in Brentwood, Essex is seeking a Property Lawyer / Conveyancer (Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer) to join its busy and established property team.

The firm is recognised as a leading practice in property finance, delivering innovative legal services across lender services, finance, mortgages, and property transactions. Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated legal professional to join the team.

Applications are welcomed from candidates with around 2 years PQE or significantly more experience. The firm is ultimately looking for someone with the right attitude, strong technical ability, and a proactive approach.

The Role

You will primarily be handling property finance matters for banking and lender clients, working on a wide range of transactions involving both commercial and residential freehold and leasehold property.

The role offers exposure to diverse property investment and lending scenarios, providing the opportunity to develop strong technical expertise in property finance work.

Key Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience handling commercial and residential property transactions, including freehold and leasehold matters
  • Experience acting for lenders would be advantageous
  • Strong technical knowledge of property law
  • Good commercial awareness
  • A practical and proactive approach to problem-solving
  • The ability to prioritise and manage a busy caseload effectively
  • Excellent communication and client care skills
