Are you an experienced sustainability leader looking to influence environmental strategy at senior level within a growing organisation?

We are working with a well-established and expanding organisation seeking to appoint a Head of Sustainability. This is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping and delivering the organisation s environmental strategy while ensuring sustainability is embedded across the business.

Reporting directly to the Chief Compliance Officer, this role will operate at a strategic level while also supporting operational teams to improve environmental performance across multiple sites.

The role will be based at the organisation s headquarters near Maidstone, with travel across the South East with occasional home working.

What you will be doing:
  • Leading the development and delivery of the organisation s sustainability and environmental strategy
  • Advising senior leadership and board-level stakeholders on environmental matters
  • Driving initiatives that reduce environmental impact and improve performance
  • Ensuring environmental compliance across operational sites and activities
  • Embedding sustainability principles into operational and commercial decision making
  • Supporting the organisation as it continues to grow and expand geographically


What we are looking for:
We are keen to speak with experienced sustainability or environmental professionals who can demonstrate:
  • Senior leadership experience within sustainability, environmental management, or ESG
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders and operating at board level
  • A track record of delivering environmental improvements within operational environments
  • Strategic thinking with a pragmatic and hands-on approach
  • A CSCS card would be advantageous, although support can be provided to obtain this if required for site visits.
