The Location Sitting in a commanding position overlooking a popular sandy beach, this striking art deco-style building has been fully renovated to create a vibrant coastal destination. The venue offers stunning sea views and direct access to the seafront, making it a favourite spot for both visitors and locals. The site features a large pub restaurant with approximately 250 indoor and 300 outdoor covers, alongside a takeaway serving classic seaside favourites and a popular ice cream and coffee parlour, creating a lively and welcoming coastal experience.
You'll Fit Right Inn As an
Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the General Manager to ensure the inn feels like a
home away from home for guests. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will help lead the team, manage daily operations and create a welcoming, efficient environment for both staff and visitors.
In this role, you will work closely with the General Manager to oversee daily duties, lead a team to deliver company standards, and support the inn's day-to-day operations.
You'll need to be
hands-on, approachable and confident leading by example, helping to foster a positive and collaborative atmosphere.
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing shift operations within a busy, fast-paced environment
- Supporting the team to deliver exceptional guest service
- Completing key administrative tasks
- Liaising with chefs, management and suppliers
- Managing stock control, stocktakes and ordering
- Assisting with accounts processes
- Supporting guest communications and operational needs, including occasional overnight responsibilities when required
