Senior Manager - R&D Tax Big4
London / Hybrid working
£100,000 plus car allowance, bonus and excellent benefits
We are seeking an experienced R&D Tax Senior Manager to join our clients growing R&D Tax practice team. This is a senior, client-facing role for a UK R&D tax specialist who enjoys working with innovative businesses and contributing to the growth of a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of R&D tax clients and oversee end-to-end claim delivery.
- Prepare and review UK R&D tax claims for HMRC submission.
- Act as a trusted adviser to clients and liaise directly with HMRC.
- Lead, coach, and develop junior team members.
- Identify new opportunities and support proposals and practice growth.
About You
- Professionally qualified (ACA, CA, ACCA, ATT, CTA or international equivalent), or former Tax Inspector with full technical training.
- Strong hands-on experience in UK R&D tax incentives.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
- Confident leader with experience developing junior staff.
- Knowledge of Patent Box and/or corporate tax is advantageous.
