Paralegal (Private Client) Annual Salary: £26-28,000 (Depending on Experience) Location: Leatherhead, Surrey Job Type: Full-time Join a leading law firm in the Southeast, recognised for excellence by The Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners. We are looking for a Paralegal to join our Private Client team, providing direct support to fee earners and contributing to our commitment to outstanding client service. Day-to-day of the role: Assist with matter creation, progression, and closure using the firm's case management and practice management systems. Perform data entry, prepare correspondence and documents, and update workflows. Maintain high levels of attention to detail, quality, and accuracy in all work. Engage with clients and liaise with third parties in a professional and courteous manner. Support the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the team and the Private Client department. Undertake specific training as required and proactively engage in professional development. Required Skills & Qualifications: Recognised Paralegal qualification through one of the following routes: Institute of Paralegals, with at least 1 year's practical legal experience. CLT Specialist Paralegal Course, alongside practical legal experience. Law graduate with relevant experience in the specialist area of law. Professional and courteous communication skills. Good IT skills with proficiency in relevant software systems. Demonstrates alignment with the firm's values and a genuine interest in legal work. Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, sensitive to client vulnerabilities. Desirable Skills: Experience with Practice Evolve or other case management systems. Familiarity with Practical Law and FastDraft. Benefits: Financial Rewards: Annual salary review and bonus scheme. 5% employer pension contribution. Death in Service benefit of 4x salary.
