Job Description

My client, a well-established, modern Top 200 law firm, is currently seeking an experienced and ambitious Senior Solicitor or Partner to join their thriving Private Client team in South West London. The firm combines the quality, capability and resources of a large practice with the approachability and supportive culture of a smaller one. They pride themselves on high-quality work, creative thinking, and long-standing client relationships.This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Private Client specialist to play a key role in expanding the firm's presence in the Wimbledon and wider South West London area.The Role The successful candidate will:
  • Lead and grow the Private Client offering in Wimbledon.
  • Use strong business development skills to build new relationships and expand existing networks.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments, cross-referring work where appropriate.
  • Advise on the full range of Private Client matters, including:
    • Wills
    • Estate administration (including high-value and cross-border matters)
    • Trusts
    • Lasting Powers of Attorney
  • Work with the support of experienced paralegals and administrators.
About You
  • 8+ years PQE in Private Client law.
  • Proven experience in handling a wide range of matters, ideally including high-value estates.
  • Commercially astute with excellent drafting skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Conscientious, hardworking and committed to delivering exceptional client service.
  • Strong communication, organisation and analytical skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively, supporting junior and senior team members.
  • Comfortable working to deadlines, targets and client protocols while maintaining quality.
  • Willing to actively engage in networking and business development.
  • A STEP qualification is advantageous but not essential.
