We re recruiting for an experienced Pensions Officer to lead the pensions function for a respected national organisation. This role is perfect for someone who can simplify complex pension matters, influence policy, and support individuals with clear, compassionate guidance.

The role involves:

• Lead on pensions policy, research and legislative updates.
• Advise on Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution schemes.
• Provide guidance on pension changes, retirement options and scheme disputes.
• Produce reports, briefings and training materials.
• Lead pensions awareness campaigns and manage online learning content.
• Represent the organisation at meetings and conferences.
• Line-manage a Pension Administrator and support wider departmental work.

You will need:

• Strong knowledge of workplace and state pensions.
• Experience analysing scheme rules, actuarial reports and technical data.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
• Strong research, organisational and problem?solving skills.
• Comfortable working independently, managing deadlines and reacting to urgent issues.
• Willingness to travel UK-wide, including occasional overnights/weekends.
