Our client, a well-established family-run commercial vehicle dealer group with over 33 years of industry experience and multiple centres across Southern England, is seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join their Swindon head office. The successful candidate will work either late or night shifts, delivering essential maintenance and repair services to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Duties of the HGV Technician:- Complete all service, maintenance, and repair tasks to the highest standards and manufacturer time frames as a qualified HGV Technician
- Conduct thorough diagnostics and fault repairs on HGV vehicles
- Support colleagues with technical issues, providing innovative and effective solutions
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation of all service, repair, and inspection activities
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop environment
- Assist in supporting customer relationships by delivering professional and efficient service
Requirements:- Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Several years of experience working as a HGV Technician or in a similar role
- Proven ability to produce high-quality work in a busy workshop setting
- Motivated team player with strong problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence; an active HGV licence is advantageous but not essential
- Ability to work flexibly in either late or night shift patterns
- Forward-thinking with a commitment to ongoing professional development
