Our client, an established multi-disciplinary environmental consultancy has an urgent requirement for a Principal Energy Consultant to join their team on a remote basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate to lead a team of consultants, delivering energy solutions for predominantly large scale residential clients.

Qualifications: Ideally candidates will have a BEng / BSc in an appropriate building services / energy / sustainability related discipline. Applicants who have achieved Chartered Engineer / Environmentalist status will be at an advantage.

Experience: In this instance candidates are sought with a strong background in energy consultancy, delivering overheating thermal modelling through IES and planning strategies. It is anticipated that the successful Principal Energy Consultant will have a proven track record in staff management, business development and client facing.

Duties:
- Leading a small team of energy consultants including workload management and developing training frameworks
- Liaising with clients
- Assisting with the continued growth of the team and workload
- Delivering expert dynamic simulation modelling
- Building and maintaining client relationships
- Overseeing WLCA projects
