Warehouse Operative

We are recruiting for experienced warehouse opertive on behalf of our client to support day-to-day operations within a busy and well-organised environment. This is a permanent, hands-on role that involves a high level of manual work, with limited forklift truck use.

The Role

Duties will include:

Picking and packing orders for dispatch

Forklift truck Driving

Manual unloading and hand balling of deliveries

Producing dispatch paperwork and labels

Liaising with transport companies to ensure daily collection targets are met

Using handheld scanners to maintain high levels of accuracy

Managing stock and preparing transfers for outbound deliveries

Loading and unloading delivery vehicles by hand or using MHE

Moving between departments as required (production, bulk, e-commerce)

This role involves heavy lifting and physical work.

Key Skills & Experience

Previous warehouse or logistics experience

Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred

Good communication skills and a team-focused approach

Organised, proactive, and positive attitude

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
