We are recruiting on behalf of an established manufacturing business looking to appoint an experienced Production & Operations Manager to lead day-to-day manufacturing activities near Driffield.

This role sits within a technical assembly and manufacturing environment, and would suit someone with experience managing production teams, coordinating operations and ensuring efficient delivery of products while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across production, stores and purchasing
• Plan and prioritise workloads to meet customer delivery requirements
• Manage production schedules and operational planning
• Lead and support production and assembly teams
• Monitor productivity, quality and operational performance
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and quality procedures
• Oversee the condition and use of tools, equipment and machinery

Ideal Candidate

• Experience in production or operations management within manufacturing
• Background in technical or electromechanical assembly environments
• Experience leading production or assembly teams
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• A proactive approach to process improvement and operational efficiency
